Description
There aren't many opportunities to spend a night or a week in an authentic Renaissance building, but this hotel, situated close to the basilica of Santa Maggiore in the Palazzo Imperiali Borromeo, gives its patrons a one-of-a-kind experience. The former residence of Giulio Rospigliosi who became Pope Clement IX in 1667, now houses spacious and comfortable rooms fitted with all modern features for a comfortable stay. The interiors of the rooms and even the bathrooms are refurbished respecting the style and period of the building, and to add to the beauty of the setting, all windows offer pretty views of the internal courtyard or the peaceful garden.
